Book Clubs

We host a variety of Book Clubs here at Book, there’s something for every taste. Please contact the shop to find out more or to put your name down.

Fiction Book Club

Held every other month at the shop. We pick a fiction paperback, read it and then meet to discuss our choice, and other books we’ve loved over an informal glass of wine (or other drink of your choice!). A great way to get to know other book-lovers in the community. Please check on Facebook or in store for dates and the current book.

The Other Worlds Book Club

A club for fans of sci-fi and fantasy, held every month. Our specialist bookseller selects a new book from this genre and the group then meets to chat at a local venue. Please check Facebook for dates, and this month’s choice.

Middle School Book Club

A book club for 9-13 year olds. We pick a book approximately every other month, read it, then meet at the shop for a discussion and activity around the themes of the book. In previous clubs, we’ve had access to limited edition copies, dedicated signed copies of books, letters and videos directly from the authors to members and loads more. We also use the reviews of the members in store to recommend books to their peers. A really informal, fun session for book-worms. Please check on Facebook for book choices and dates.
